Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Say: 'Wait if you will; I shall be waiting with you' 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty. 36 Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Seek they to lay a plot? Then those who disbelieve it is they who shall be plotted against. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 And if they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down, they would say: it is only clouds piled up. 44 So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). 45 The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 and extol His glory at night, and at the time when the stars retreat. 49
