What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
