Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 Their brother Lot asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 Thereafter We annihilated the rest. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Yet surely your Lord is mighty and powerful. 175
