Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
