We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
