۞ O people! You are dependant on Allah; and Allah only is the Independent (Absolute, Not Needing Anything), the Most Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 And this is not hard to Allah. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike 19 Nor darkness and light, 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 not equal are the living and the dead. God makes to hear whomsoever He will; thou canst not make those in their tombs to hear - 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
