And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
