Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Noble and recording; 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
