The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
