The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
