The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
