As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
