Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
