Lo! We, even We, have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a revelation; 23 Therefore wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one. 24 Mention the Name of your Lord, mornings and evenings. 25 and part of the night; bow down before Him and magnify Him through the long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills; indeed Allah is All Knowing, Wise. 30 He admits to His Mercy whomsoever He pleases. As for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a grievous chastisement. 31
