Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And (also) in yourselves. Can ye then not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
