▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 full of various trees. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
