▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning for people -- 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 In Gardens they will question 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
