Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Those who take heed for themselves and fear God, will be amidst shade and springs of water, 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
