The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
