Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
