▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
