Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Faces on that Day shall be downcast, 2 be toiling and worn-out; 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. 11 In it is a flowing spring. 12 In which are high thrones. 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 and cushions arrayed 15 and carpets spread out. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And the earth: how it was spread out? 20 So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Indeed, to Us they shall return, 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
