Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
