1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!" 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 Thus do We treat the culprits. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He saith: Will ye look? 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 Are we not then to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 Verily they found their fathers gone astray. 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
