Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And used to seek forgiveness before dawn. 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised; 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
