Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
