The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
