The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
