And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
