The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
