Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
