Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
