Jinns (Al-Jinn)
28 verses, revealed in Mecca after A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf) before Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an. 1 It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. 2 for [we know] that sublimely exalted is our Sustainer's majesty: no consort has He ever taken unto Himself, nor a son! 3 And that our foolish one has been saying about Allah an excessive transgression. 4 we never thought that either human or jinn would ever tell a lie against Allah!' 5 Some men used to seek refuge with the jinn in the past, but that only increased their insolence. 6 'And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment). 7 and that “we tried to pry (the secrets of) the heaven, but we found it full of terrible guards and shooting meteors”; 8 We would sit there on seats to hear; but any listening now finds a meteor in wait for him. 9 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path. 10 As for us, some of us are righteous and others are not. We have all followed different ways. 11 We have realized that we could never thwart God on earth and that we would never be able to thwart Him by flight. 12 ‘And that when we heard the guidance, we accepted faith in it; so whoever accepts faith in his Lord, has no fear neither of any loss nor of any injustice.’ 13 And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course. 14 And as for the Qasitun (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell, 15 (Say): "If they keep to the right path We shall give them water in abundance to drink 16 So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment. 17 And [know] that all worship is due to God [alone]: hence, do not invoke anyone side by side with God! 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
