The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1
All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Guide us the straight way. 6 The path of those whom You have favoured – Not the path of those who earned Your anger – nor of those who are astray. 7
