And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 And my breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me); 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 (Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 [Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said, 'And what is the Lord of all Being?' 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33
