We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
