And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
