But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
