The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
