The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
