Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
