The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
