Whoso blinds himself to the Remembrance of the All-merciful, to him We assign a Satan for comrade; 36 And most surely they turn them away from the path, and they think that they are guided aright: 37 Till, when he cometh unto Us, he saith (unto his comrade): Ah, would that between me and thee there were the distance of the two horizons - an evil comrade! 38 But nothing will avail you on that day, for you were unjust, and you will be partners in the punishment. 39 Can you [Prophet] make the deaf hear? Or guide either the blind or those who are in manifest error? 40 And if We take thee away, We shall surely take vengeance on them. 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So hold thou fast unto that which has been revealed unto thee; surely thou art upon a straight path. 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 And ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before thee: Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped beside the Beneficent? 45
