Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
