Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a straight path; 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
