And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
