The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
