Indeed the place of success is for the pious. 31 Gardens and grapevines 32 And full-breasted [companions] of equal age 33 And an overflowing cup. 34 There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying - 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 [a reward from] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Most Gracious! [And] none shall have it in their power to raise their voices unto Him 37 The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right. 38 That Day is sure to come. So let him who will seek a resort with his Lord. 39 We have warned you of a chastisement which is near at hand, on the Day when man shall [clearly] see what his hands have sent ahead, and when he who has denied the truth shall say, "Oh, would that I were dust!" 40
