It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
