Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

We have sent the Book down to you with the truth so that you may judge among mankind by means of what God has shown you. And do not be an advocate for the treacherous. 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 106 And do not dispute on behalf of those who betray themselves; surely God loves not the guilty traitor. 107 They hide themselves from men, but hide not themselves from God; for He is with them while they meditate at night discourse unpleasing to Him; God encompasses the things they do. 108 Pay heed! It is you people who argued on their behalf in the life of this world; so who will fight on their behalf with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their pleader? 109 He who does evil or wrongs himself and then asks forgiveness of Allah will find that Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 110 And whosoever earns a sin, earns it against himself only; and God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 111 And whosoever earnoth a vice or a sin, and thereafter casteth it on an innocent, he hath surely borne a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
